Project Description
This residential property in Blandford, Dorset, features a basement constructed using an insulated concrete foam-work system. This type of basement construction achieves low U-values which compliment those achieved by a SIP building system.
The SIP walls were then built on top of the basement system to create the Ground floor and first floors. SIP panels for the roof completed the structural envelope and a traditional cavity and brick construction was used for the external finish.
This property highlighted the compatibility of a Build It Green SIP building system with both cutting edge and traditional methods of construction.
