Project Description

This modern open plan house was designed by Paul Redman of RUA Architects and was built in Frome, Somerset. On the ground floor it has kitchen, living area, media room, conservatory and three bedrooms. The roof was vaulted which gave space for a mezzanine on the first floor which overlooks the living area of the house. The SIP roof panels sit on engineered glulam beams which are supported by the wall panels, all custom designed for this project.

This building is the perfect example of how maximum space can be achieved using SIP panels, and how large open plan areas can be created even in a small structure.

Build it Green provided an extremely quick design and build service far superior to alternative suppliers in terms of costs and time, together with solid guarantees.
