Project Description

The Horrill Centre is a Well-Being and Day Opportunity Centre located in the New Forrest. The centre will be the first in Hampshire providing services directly related to the Adult Social Services modernisation plan.

Sustainable design features included Build It Green Structural Insulated Panels with high performance timber windows and passive ventilation to conserve energy.

For the external finish western red cedar cladding was used and recycled lorry tyres for the entrance matting. A large rainwater butt was provided to serve the vegetable garden.
