Project Description
Designed by Michael Phillips Architects Ltd, this dwelling in Hordle, Hampshire, features an intricate cropped hip gable roof design and vaulted ceilings.
A series of valley, hip and ridge glulam beams support the SIP roof panels and have been left exposed at the underside of the roof to create a visual statement when inside the house.
This type of complex roof configuration is pre designed by the Build It Green in-house design team ensuring that the angled cut panels fit together with a high degree of accuracy.
External finishes included cedar weather board and timber frame windows.
