Project Description
This large farmhouse project is located on the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park offering superb access to beautiful moorland landscape.
Structural steel work was used in high load areas and Build It Green SIP panels completed the roof and external walls. A masonry chimney was constructed prior to the SIP installation.
Open metal web floor joists were used to form the structural first and second floors to enable ease of installation of all services.
Ridge beams and purlins were used to support the roof panels, allowing for habitable room in roof space at second floor level.
An outer skin of block work was built forming a cavity between the external SIP walls and finished with render.
