Project Description

Designed by DFA Architecture, this is a modern single storey house located in Swanage, Dorset.

High level windows incorporated within the roof allow natural light to flood the main living areas.

The project called for complicated angular shapes which were achieved through the use of factory fabricated Structural Insulated Panels, pre-designed by the Build It Green in house design team.

Access to this narrow site required the use of a tele-handler to lift the SIP panels into place, providing a good example of how SIP construction can be used on even the most demanding of sites.

Externally, a blend of brickwork, render and triple glazed windows completed a visually stunning residence.
