Project Description
This compact, open plan house with basement was constructed in Wimborne, Dorset.
Structural Steel was used as framing at either end of the building to facilitate the installation of large glazed windows. A feature glulam ridge beam spans the length of the dwelling, and was left uncovered to create the main focal point internally.
Build It Green SIP panels form the external walls and roof, with stud wall partitions accounting for all the internal wall requirements.
A storage mezzanine built from solid timber joists introduced a raised area to provide additional room in roof space.
