If you need assistance obtaining planning permission, Build It Green can offer a Planning Design Service with a Free Initial Consultation in which we will outline the planning and architectural services we are able to offer and allow you to discuss in detail your project ideas with us.

Our experienced team will guide you through every step of the planning process providing you with a solution tailored to your needs. We will liaise with your local planning authority and provide them with all the information they require to assess your application including a detailed design and access statement.

Our design fees are competitive and agreed up front giving you the peace of mind to let our experienced architectural designers guide you through a potentially daunting process. With a vast knowledge of construction methods and the technical specifications required to reach a ‘PassivHaus’ standard, you can be sure that you will receive a coherent design and build which results in a cost effective solution for you.

Build It Green have a formed numerous working relationships with local architects who are fully conversant with SIP technology.

Building Regulation & Construction Drawings

Building Regulations are requirements that must be met for construction. Each local authority has a building control department who independently assess your project plans.

Further to your planning approval, Build It Green can offer an in-house technical service which produces AutoCAD Building Regulation & Construction drawings that includes the detailed requirements of SIP technology.

Our in-house technical service is approved through the LABC Partner Authority Scheme. This scheme enables Build It Green to have a one-to-one working relationship with a single local authority for advice and plan appraisal. The site inspections are still carried out by the local authority closest to your project.

Our in-house technical service includes the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) Rating and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).

We can offer this service in conjunction with your existing architect or standalone. Many architects welcome these additional services due to the specialist detailing required for SIP technology.
