Planning and Estimate
		SIP BUILDING SYSTEM	FULL TURNKEY SERVICE
1	If you require planning permission, Build It Green can offer a 'Free Initial Consultation' to discuss your project ideas and the planning and architectural services we can provide.
2	If you have already obtained planning permission, please send your drawings to us either by post or email, or through our website Request Estimate page. These should include scaled or dimensioned via the plans, elevations and sections. Electronic files can be sent in either DWG, DXF or PDF formats.
2	Internal and external finish schedules should also be supplied.
3	We confirm receipt of your drawings and allocate you a project number. We then issue an estimate to you normally within 2 weeks.

	A SIP technical presentation.
	A demonstration of the 3D CAD model and associated structural elements for your project.
	The presentation of associated product samples e.g. windows and external finishes.

	Following our meeting a revised quotation will be produced if necessary.
Order Process
5	A written order and deposit payment will then be required for the SIP Building System and any other Associated Products & Services in accordance with our Standard Terms of Agreement.

Building Regulation & Construction Drawings
6	Your architect issues Build It Green with dimensioned construction drawings in a DWG or DXF CAD format. These drawings need to be detailed for SIP construction and should include plans, elevations, sections and a window & door schedule. Please click here to see an example of the standard of drawing detail we require for our SIP design.
	These drawings need to be full working drawings and should include plans, elevations, sections, window & door schedule and detailed finish schedules.
	Build It Green will supply all the drawings and information above if contracted to do so.
Structural Design Drawings
7	A copy of our structural design, calculations and foundation loads will be issued and should be forwarded to your building control office and/or your warranty provider.
	Should Build It Green be responsible for the ground works, we will also include the foundation design.
	A copy of our sub structure and super structure structural designs and calculations will be issued to the relevant building control office and warranty provider.
Approval of Drawing Information
8	We prepare and issue SIP building system approval drawings in accordance to the Architects design for signing by the client / Architect.

Programme of Works
9	A construction start date is allocated. The lead time from production to allocated start date for the SIP Building System is typically four to six weeks from receipt of signed approval drawings.
9	A detailed construction programme including design, ordering, on-site works and stage payment dates will be provided.
Manufacturing & Construction
10	We will manufacture and deliver the SIP Building System and any other Associated Products & Services to site ready to be installed by Build It Green or your chosen contractor.
	Build It Green will make periodic checks on your project during the construction process.
	Work on site commences with the ground works and continues through to completion as per the build programme. A final handover & sign off takes place after Build It Green have completed all works.
